Little Miss Raya Sunshine

I was lucky enough to take Monday off and head down to my friends place in the Crowsnest Pass for a Shiloh playdate and what fun it was. I got a lot of photos of frolicking shepherds but this one is my absolute favorite. This is Raya my friends 6 month old Shiloh Shepherd and she is a stunner.

Alcatraz The Wardens House

Although it was a bright beautiful day and the photo turned out well it just didn't feel right so with a bit of post editing I really think I captured the true feel of the island. This is probably my favorite photo from our trip.

A trip to Southern Alberta and Writing on Stone Provincial Park stepping into this landscape is like stepping into another planet a must see for anyone. I plan to return in the spring to capture the wild flowers that will scatter the hillsides adding color to the already wonderful landscape.

Frosty February Morning in Okotoks

A train bridge, a black & white vision some ducks in the fog frost on the foliage along the Sheep River in Okotoks, Alberta, Canada early this very chilly morning as the sun was coming up and last but not least , the pond at the Air Ranch Bird Sanctuary, It was well worth freezing my @$$ off taking around 300 photos as the light changed to get a few shots I really like. It took me a second vanilla latte and a hot bath to thaw out. Oh and that little white spot in the sky is the moon.

First day in a while I have gotten out to take photos for fun. The sky was some what cloud covered so course the lighting wasn't great but I did find these horses that were willing to be models for me. I thought the blue eyed blonde now residing at the top of my blog is the most beautiful horse I have ever seen and the pony well he was just to cute for words. Had a great day out taking photos yesterday got to see some boys battling it out for the girls it was fun to watch and shoot. Will be uploading more photos to my site in the next couple of weeks.
